Job Title: Outside Sales Position
Fort Wayne, Indiana Area
Reports to: Derek Paquin - Principal
The outside Sales Postion is responsible for new business development and account management for Sensory Technologies customers in an assigned territory and contributing to the companys ability to achieve its revenue and profitability goals.
Daily Prospecting to identify and qualify new potential customers, including cold calling and development of leads through referral channels, to generate appointments and establish relationships.
Manage the pipeline of sales opportunities from current and prospective customers to ensure that sales goals are met.
Work closely with engineers and project managers to define project scope and implementation to close sales proposals to prospects and existing customers.
Complete all paperwork promptly, thoroughly and accurately, to ensure company profitability and maximize its ability to deliver a high-quality solution while minimizing potential problems in service delivery or invoicing.
Effectively communicate with Sensory Technologies clients and staff, following internal communications guidelines and workflows making certain that all sales resources and databases such that they are kept up-to-date and accurate.
Proactively resolve client issues or potential issues early to minimize client surprises.
Develop and maintain a broad background in Sensory Technologies core technology to ensure the ability to close sales opportunities as independently as possible and quickly adapt to new technologies and products.
Role model and reinforce Sensory Technologies values to all internal and external customers, adhering to all laws and regulations that govern its business operations.
Industry experience preferable.
Business-to-business high call prospecting sales experience preferable, a plus to have experience in technical consultative sales selling high end products (average sale ranges from $50k to $2mm) and value with intangible products.
Ability to work independently in a remote office required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
Must understand sales reporting, tracking and reporting of critical data, and familiar with maintaining a sales contact data base.
